Chelated Mineral
A chelated mineral is one bound to an amino acid or organic acid — magnesium glycinate or zinc bisglycinate, for example — a form often marketed as better absorbed and gentler on the stomach than cheaper oxide forms. There is reasonable support for the tolerance point and mixed evidence on absorption magnitude, so we report the form as listed without overselling the claim. When two products differ mainly on chelated-versus-oxide framing, we note it as a real formulation detail and let the price decide whether it is worth a premium.
