Micronutrient Coverage
Micronutrient coverage is how completely a meal shake supplies the vitamins and minerals of the meal it stands in for, read from the %DV column on the panel. A true meal replacement spreads coverage across many nutrients; a protein shake with a token vitamin dusting does not, and the label shows the difference. Coverage is stronger when it is third-party verified rather than just claimed. We report the breadth of coverage factually; whether you need it depends on the rest of your diet, which is a clinician conversation.
