This showdown strips them down to the numbers that matter: cost per serving, sodium per serving, and sugar per serving. Because with electrolytes, the "value" question has two halves — what you pay, and what you actually get for it.
The three numbers that decide value
Forget the flavor names and the influencer clips. An electrolyte serving is worth comparing on exactly three lines:
- Cost per serving = price ÷ servings.
- Sodium per serving (mg) — the mineral that actually distinguishes these products.
- Sugar per serving (g) — functional (ORS-style) or just flavor?
Value isn't the lowest cost per serving; it's the cost relative to the sodium you wanted and the sugar you didn't. A cheap stick with 200 mg sodium and 11 g sugar can be worse value than a pricier one built for the job.

Potassium and magnesium are welcome inclusions, but a mix charging a premium for a token 100–200 mg of potassium isn't adding much value you couldn't get from a piece of fruit.
